Registrant Rights:
- 1. Agreement with ICANN Accredited Registrar: Your domain name and any associated privacy/proxy services must be governed by a Registration Agreement with an ICANN Accredited Registrar.
- 2. Access to Agreement: You have the right to access and download your Registration Agreement at any time for your personal records.
- 3. Access to Information:
- Registrar Identity: Clear information about the identity of your ICANN Accredited Registrar.
- Privacy Service Provider: Information about any proxy or privacy service provider affiliated with your Registrar.
- Terms and Conditions: Detailed terms, conditions, and pricing for domain name registrations and any associated privacy services offered by your Registrar.
- Customer Support: Information on the customer support services provided by your Registrar and privacy services provider, including how to access them.
- Dispute Resolution: Instructions on how to address concerns and resolve disputes with your Registrar and any associated privacy services.
- Registration Processes: Clear guidelines on your Registrar's processes for registering, managing, transferring, renewing, and restoring domain name registrations, including any available proxy or privacy services.
- 4. Protection Against Deceptive Practices: You have the right to be free from false advertising or deceptive practices by your Registrar or any affiliated proxy or privacy services. This includes avoiding misleading notices, hidden fees, and any practices that are illegal under the consumer protection laws of your country.
Registrant Responsibilities:
- 1. Compliance: Adhere to the terms and conditions established by your Registrar, including policies from your Registrar, the Registry, and ICANN.
- 2. Agreement Review: Regularly review your Registrar's current Registration Agreement and any updates to it.
- 3. Responsibility for Registration: You are solely responsible for the registration and use of your domain name.
- 4. Accurate Information: Provide accurate information for directories such as WHOIS and promptly update any changes.
- 5. Responsiveness: Respond to inquiries from your Registrar within fifteen (15) days and keep your Registrar account data current. If you choose automatic renewal for your domain name registration, ensure your payment information is up to date.
